Designs for High Voltage Applications
Spang is experienced designing and incorporating transformers for applications with high voltage inputs. This enables the user to minimize their total investment. It eliminates the need to purchase and install a step down transformer in addition to the rectifier-transformer because the high voltage transformer is incorporated into the rectifier system.
Features and Options
- Input voltage: Typically, 230/460 VAC but high voltage inputs through 15 KV available.
- Output voltage: Up to 125 VDC (higher output voltages available upon request).
- Output current: Up to 50,000 ADC but higher output currents are available upon request.
- Ripple: 5% RMS at rated voltage and current (unfiltered).
- Optional 12-pulse rectification for reduced input harmonics and reduced output ripple.
- Forced air or water cooling.
- Programmable logic controller
