RL CERAMIC HIGH TEMPERATURE HEATERS
180° semi-cylindrical heaters
- 1010°C (1850°F)80-20 Nickel-Chrome wire is helically wound and placed in a grooved ceramic refractory holder. The wire is exposed but can be embedded if required. Leads can be standard (single strand) or braided (two strands twisted). Available with insulation packages, with or with out vestibules. Length can be customized for most applications.

- 1204°C (2200°F)Iron-Chrome-Aluminum wire is helically wound and placed in a grooved ceramic refractory holder. The coil is embedded with thermal conductive cement, to prevent it from growing out at the grooves due to expansion. Leads can be standard (single strand) or braided (two strands twisted). Available with insulation packages, with or with out vestibules. Length can be customized for most applications.

Heater Specification ChartFibercraft® High Temperature Electric Heaters
Fibercraft® vacuum formed ceramic fiber heaters are a low mass heating system, light weight and with maximum operating temperatures from 1100°C (2012°F) to 1200°C (2192°F). The heaters are manufactured using high quality, high purity ceramic fiber with a low sodium inorganic binder.
The Fibercraft® heater is available in many standard and custom configurations. The following will give you some idea as to the standard units which can be produced by Thermcraft. For the design and engineering of a custom heater please contact us.
FIBERCRAFT® 1100°C HEATERS
VF-360
These full cylinder Low Mass heater offers faster heat up, greater temperature uniformity, faster recovery rates, and faster cool down time. These heaters use a helically wound iron-chrome-aluminum wire partially embedded in the ceramic fiber. Leads can be standard (single strand) or braided (two strands twisted). The heaters are available with intregal vestibules with the opening sized to meet the need of the application.

These half cylinder Low Mass heater offers faster heat up, greater temperature uniformity, faster recovery rates, and faster cool down time. These heaters use a helically wound iron-chrome-aluminum wire partially embedded in the ceramic fiber. The heaters can be used in pairs to surround an existing pipe or tube. Leads can be standard (single strand) or braided (two strands twisted). The heaters are available with intregal vestibules with the opening sized to meet the need of the application.

VFR-180
These half cylinder Low Mass heaters use a helically wound iron-chrome-aluminum ribbon partially embedded in the ceramic fiber, and are constructed in order to allow for heat to radiate off in three (3) directions. The heaters can be used in pairs to surround an existing pipe or tube. The heaters are available with intregal vestibules with the opening sized to meet the need of the application. Leads can be standard (single strand) or braided (two strands twisted).

PH-C
The Cast Plate heaters are available in almost any size required for most applications, the large ID groove allow for much larger gage wire there-fore higher watts per square inch of heater surface, then most standard plate heaters. Most options are available on the PH-C, thermocouple holes, braided leads and site ports to name a few. The standard sizes can be found on the chart but almost any reasonable size can be manufactured by Thermcraft.
